This is an excellent budge-friendly indoor half-term activity in Surrey for any Lego® lovers.

A royal quest at Hampton Court Palace

Step back in time at Hampton Court Palace and take part in a royal quest inspired by Tudor history.  Children can also explore the palace, roam the 60 acres of gardens, and burn off energy in the Magic Garden playground.

Air Hop Trampoline Park, Guildford

Watts Gallery, Guildford

Comic Art Masterclass at Cranleigh Arts Centre

Lightwater Country Park

One of the best National Trust properties in Surrey for February half term activities is Polesden Lacey in Bookham.

Although most Surrey theme parks don’t open officially until the end of March, many are running special events during February half term, offering early access to family-friendly fun and attractions.

Chessington Zootastic

Chessington World of Adventures is a great choice during February half term for animal lovers.  In addition to close encounters with over 1,000 animals, animal talks and the Sea Life Centre, a small selection of rides are also open.

 Hobbledown near Epsom was one of our favourite family-friendly attractions in Surrey, when the kids were younger.

It’s a fantastic all-weather destination, offering both indoor and outdoor activities.  Children can enjoy outdoor play areas, an exciting indoor playbarn, the Thinkery for interactive fun, as well as the zoo and farm enclosures for animal encounters.

Whether rain or shine, Hobbledown provides a full day of half term fun for the whole family!

Penguin Brick Hunt at Birdworld, Farnham

Step into a winter wonderland at Birdworld in Farnham during February half-term with 16 models varying in height from 60cm, each sporting winter hats or scarves!
They’ll be hidden around Penguin Island and Penguin Beach – can you find them all, including a special one of our own Squid?

In addition to a wide variety of birds, Birdworld has two new play areas and a family trail, making it a perfect destination for a family day out in Surrey this half term.
