On second thoughts, you might want to forget the picnic, as Hampshire is a foodie’s paradise.  Our favourite is the Elderflower in Lymington, which offers a delectable tasting menu at reasonable price.

Alternatively, you could head to the Hampshire coast for a lovey-dovey stroll by the sea.  There’s plenty for couples to do by the Hampshire coast.  Visit the naval city of Portsmouth to see the Mary Rose or Milford on Sea for a walk to Hurst Castle.  Plus, don’t forget to visit Lymington, a pretty Georgian town, with cobbled streets and a marina.

Another of the best things to do in Hampshire for couples is visit the Beaulieu Motor Museum.  As well as its collection of heritage cars, visitors can visit the estate or enjoy a falconry display.  If cars aren’t your thing, how about a date at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery?
